Tom Darracott is an independent designer and art director.

After studying an MA in Visual Communication at Saint Martins, Darracott joined the London design studio Village Green. During this time he created work that collected various awards including Images of the Year in The British Journal of Photography and Best in Book in the Creative Review Annual.

Since establishing his own practice in 2011 he has created works for screen and print that range from branding to 3d motion design. Recent commissions include work for Nike, Mercedes Benz, Granta, and Wallpaper.

Frequently working in collaboration with other creatives and agencies, the intention is to create fresh, forward looking art and design.

Zeit Magazin

The German newspaper Zeit commissioned various contemporary product designers to come up with improved or tweaked versions of everyday objects. Working in collaboration with Carl Burgess and Thomas Traum, we created 3d models and scenes to illustrate the weird and wonderful responses to that brief. Our illustrations ran across a double cover and numerous spreads. 2010
